CURRENT COLLECTOR, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR, AND APPLICATION THEREOF

The present application provides a current collector and a preparation method and application thereof. The current collector includes a first metal layer and a second metal layer provided in a laminated manner, at least one first region and at least one second region are included between the first metal layer and the second metal layer, and the first region and the second region are alternately arranged in a first direction; the first region is provided with a polymer layer, and the polymer layer is respectively bonded to the first metal layer and the second metal layer through an adhesive layer. The current collector of the present application not only has a high welding yield, effectively saving the production cost of the lithium ion battery, but also can reduce the internal resistance of the lithium ion battery, significantly improving the cycle performance and the safety performance of the lithium ion battery.
