A vehicle airbag device (30) comprises an airbag body (32)including a front-rear chamber (34) configured to pass a side of the head (Ph) of an occupant (P) seated in a vehicle seat (10) and to deploy toward a seat front side as a result of gas being ejected from an inflator (28) actuated, so as to be disposed at the side of the head (Ph) of the occupant (P), a leading end chamber (36) is configured to deploy toward a seat width direction inner side from a seat front side end portion of the front-rear chamber (34) so as to be disposed at the seat front side of the head (Ph) of the occupant (P), and a shoulder-contact section (40) is configured to contact, from the seat front side, a first shoulder (PsL) of the occupant (P) so as to restrain the first shoulder, the first shoulder being at an opposite side from a second shoulder (PsR) of the occupant (P) across which a shoulder belt (16S) is worn.
