A LINING FOR A HAUL TRUCK BODY, A TRANSITION LINING ELEMENT AND A METHOD FOR FASTENING A LINING

The disclosure relates to a transition lining element (400) for use in a lining for a haul truck body (10), said transition lining element (400) extending along a longitudinal direction (420), said transition lining element comprising: a main surface (405); a first (431) and a second (432) end surface disposed at opposing ends of the transition lining element (400), said first (431) and second (432) end surface extending transversely of the longitudinal direction (420) and connecting to the main surface (405), a first (440a) and a second (440b) side surface which extend between the first (431) and second (432) end surfaces, respectively, on either side of the main surface (405) and connecting to the main surface (405), wherein the first side surface (440a) is non-parallel with the second side surface (440b), wherein said thickness of the transition lining element is larger (W1) at said first side surface (440a) than at (W2) said second side surface (440b). The disclosure further relates to a method for installing a lining (100) for a haul truck body (10).
