The invention relates to a table assembly (1) for a truck (100), configured for being moved between a stowed position (S) and an extended position (E), the table assembly (1) comprising : - a support plate (2) configured to be mounted on a dashboard (3) of the truck (100), - a swing arm (4) pivotally mounted on the support plate (2) about a first axis (Z1), - a turntable (7) pivotally mounted on the swing arm (4) about a second axis (Z2), in which the swing arm (4) is configured to retain its angular position as long as a torque applied on the swing arm (4) is less than a first predetermined threshold (Th1), and in which the turntable (7) is configured to retain its angular position as long as a torque applied on the turntable (7) is less than a second predetermined threshold (Th2).
