INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE AND ASSOCIATED VEHICLE AND METHOD

An intrusion detection system for a vehicle includes a radar sensor, a calculator, and an alarm system adapted to generate an alarm, the radar sensor being adapted to detect the presence of a body within the vehicle, the calculator being adapted to categorize each detected body as either a “human” category or an “other” category and to trigger the alarm system only when at least one of the detected body(ies) is categorized as “human”.
