The invention relates to a system (10) for detecting physiological data of a person in-flight in an aircraft, including at least one aircraft seat (12) and/or at least one aircraft bed (112) and at least one detecting device (26) including at least one capacitive sensor (28) integrated in the aircraft seat (12) and/or the aircraft bed (112), respectively. The capacitive sensor (28) is configured to sense at least one physiological value of a person, when the person is arranged on at least a portion of the aircraft seat (12) or aircraft bed (112). The capacitive sensor (28) is further configured to generate at least one physiological signal based on the sensed physiological value.
