Described is an electrically powered telehandler () equipped with an electric motor, a containment compartment () for receiving an electric battery () for powering the motor. An electric battery () which can be inserted in and removed from the compartment (). The compartment () is equipped with an access opening to allow replacement of the battery () and guide means () for the sliding of the battery () during insertion and extraction.
