A parking brake control device (controller 100) controls a hydraulic pressure unit (10) for braking wheels (3) hydraulically and a parking brake device (200) for braking the wheels 3 by transmitting power of an electric motor (210) to the wheels (3) mechanically. The parking brake control device includes a hydraulic brake control unit (150) capable of exercising a hydraulic brake control under which a brake is applied to the wheels (3) by the hydraulic pressure unit (10), on condition that a signal is received from an actuation switch (parking switch 92) for actuating the parking brake device (200), while a vehicle is running, and a pressure decrease rate setting unit (153) configured to set a pressure decrease rate (R) according to a closing condition satisfied upon entry into the closing stage of the hydraulic brake control when a pressure decrease control is exercised in a closing stage of the hydraulic brake control.",
