DISPLAY SYSTEM

A display system is provided which displays a display image on a reflected image (500) as a mirror in a superimposed manner, and achieves appropriate anti-glare with visibility of the display image maintained.A reflectance/transmittance of an optical device (12) disposed at a position through which image light emitted from a liquid crystal display (11) displaying an icon (510) passes is changed according to an anti-glare level to achieve anti-glare of the reflected image (500). A color of the icon (510) displayed on the liquid crystal display (11) is adjusted such that the higher the transmittance of the optical device (12) is, the lower the lightness is, so that the icon (510) of a similar color is visually recognized regardless of the reflectance/transmittance of the optical device (12).
