A battery module according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; and an elastic member that covers the front surface, the rear surface and both side surfaces of the battery cell stack, wherein the elastic member is opened in its lower part so that the lower surface of the battery cell stack is exposed to the outside.
