The mounting assembly (1-n) includes a mount (45-n) for mounting the blind cassette (3) to the vehicle (5); and a slide carrier (47-n) having a carrier section (67-n) for alignment with the guide rail (35-n). The slide carrier (47-n) is moveable relative to the mount (45-n) to facilitate alignment of the carrier section (67-n) with the guide rail (35-n). The mount (45-n) is configured to receive at least one cassette mounting fastener (41-n) configured to fasten the mount (45-n) to the roof structure (13) of the vehicle (5).
