The present invention relates to an electrode assembly, in which a positive electrode, a separator, a negative electrode are wound in a state of being stacked, wherein the positive electrode comprises a first positive electrode and a second positive electrode, each of the first positive electrode and the second positive electrode is manufactured by applying a positive electrode active material on a surface of a positive electrode collector, wherein the positive electrode active material is not applied on one end to form a positive electrode non-coating portion on which the positive electrode collector is exposed, and the positive electrode non-coating portions of the first positive electrode and the second positive electrode are bonded to be connected to each other.Furthermore, the electrode assembly according to the present invention may be equally applied to the negative electrode. That is, in an electrode assembly, in which a negative electrode, a separator, a negative electrode are wound in a state of being stacked, the negative electrode comprises a first negative electrode and a second negative electrode, each of the first negative electrode and the second negative electrode is manufactured by applying a negative electrode active material on a surface of a negative electrode collector, wherein the negative electrode active material is not applied on one end to form a negative electrode non-coating portion on which the negative electrode collector is exposed, and the negative electrode non-coating portions of the first negative electrode and the second negative electrode are bonded to be connected to each other.
