The invention relates to a transmission (120) for a vehicle, comprising: - a first input shaft (1), a second input shaft (2), a countershaft (3), a main shaft (43), and an output shaft (4), - a first gear plane (GP1) comprising a first input shaft gearwheel (11), a first main gearwheel (41), and a first countershaft gearwheel (31), - a second gear plane (GP2) comprising a second input shaft gearwheel (22), a second main gearwheel (42), and a second countershaft gearwheel (32), the first countershaft gearwheel being selectively drivingly connectable to the second countershaft gearwheel, - a range gear (RG) comprising at least a first, a second and a third range gear component (51, 52, 53), the first range gear component (51) being rotationally connected to the output shaft, - a first gear engaging device (44a, 44b) settable to: ∘ a first gear engaging device first state drivingly connecting the first main gearwheel to the first range gear component, ∘ a first gear engaging device neutral state, and ∘ a first gear engaging device second state drivingly connecting the first main gearwheel to the second range gear component, - a second gear engaging device (45a, 45b) settable to at least: ∘ a second gear engaging device first state drivingly connecting the second main gearwheel to the second range gear component, ∘ a second gear engaging device neutral state.
