COATED FORMING TOOL

A seat system (1) for a vehicle including a seat back assembly (3), a seat base assembly (2), and a headrest assembly (4). Each of the assemblies may include at least one formed part (16) for providing comfort to an occupant of the seat system (1). A coated forming tool (20) for producing the formed part (16) of the seat system (1) may be a mold assembly (22) or a printing machine configured to form at least a portion of the formed part (16) of the seat system (1). The coating (32) of the coated forming tool (20) comprises at least one of a nonstick or ecological material, and more preferably a polytetrafluroethylene (PTFE) material.
