The disclosure relates to a lifting arrangement (30, 10, 10', 10", 10‴) for lifting a wheel axle (50) of a vehicle (100), the lifting arrangement comprising:- a first elongated member (32, 32', 32", 12A) extending along a first axis (X1, X), the first elongated member (32, 32', 32", 12A) comprising a vehicle frame coupling portion (322, 13A) for connecting the lifting arrangement (30, 10, 10', 10", 10‴) to a vehicle frame of the vehicle (100) during use,- a second elongated member (34, 34', 34", 12B) extending along a second axis (X2, X), the second elongated member (34, 34', 34", 12B) comprising a wheel axle coupling portion (342, 13B) for connecting the lifting arrangement (30) to the wheel axle (50) of the vehicle (100) during use,wherein the vehicle frame coupling portion (322, 13A) and the wheel axle coupling portion (342, 13B) are offset from each other by a length (L) and wherein the lifting arrangement (30) is arranged to adjust the length (L) between a maximum length (Lmax) and a minimum length (Lmin) by axially moving the second elongated member (34, 34', 34", 12B) along the second axis (X2, X) relative the first elongated member (32, 32', 32", 12A), wherein the lifting arrangement (30, 10, 10', 10", 10‴) further comprises an engaging device (36, 36', 14A1) for axially moving the second elongated member (34, 34', 34", 12B) along the second axis (X2, X) relative the first elongated member (32, 32', 32"), and wherein the engaging device (36, 36', 14A1, 114A1, 214A1) is arranged to be provided in an engaged state with the first elongated member (32‴) or the second elongated member (34, 34', 34", 12B) so that the length (L) can be reduced and in a disengaged state with respect to the first elongated member (32‴) or the second elongated member (34, 34', 34", 12B) so that forces exerted on the wheel axle coupling portion (342, 13B) from the wheel axle (50) during use are prevented from being transferred to the engaging device (36, 36', 14A1, 114A1, 214A1).The disclosure also relates to a shock absorber device, a vehicle (100) and to a vehicle suspension system.
