An electronic device, according to one embodiment disclosed in the present document, comprises a housing, a battery, a power management module, a connector, a device recognition circuit, a memory, and a processor, wherein the connector includes a first sub pin row and a second sub pin row. The processor or the device recognition circuit may: when an external accessory device is connected to the connector and a specified resistance value is detected in a first recognition pin, control the power management module so as to supply a first power signal to a first power pin and supply a second power signal to a second recognition pin; receive first identification information of the accessory device through the first recognition pin or a first data pin; and when the first identification information is a specified value or matches second identification information stored in the memory, control the power management module so as to block the first power signal and maintain the second power signal.
