REAR-VIEW MIRROR SYSTEM

The rear-view mirror system (100) comprises a mounting assembly (200) arranged outside a motor vehicle, and a first image acquisition unit (300) at least partially received within the mounting assembly (200) configured to acquire a captured image from the exterior of the vehicle. A display device is provided inside the motor vehicle for displaying to a user a displayed image derived at least in part from the captured image. An electronics carrier (320) comprises an ECU (500) connected to the first image acquisition unit (300) so as to generate an image signal for the display device to show the displayed image. The ECU (500) is arranged, together with the electronics carrier (320), at least partially within the mounting assembly (200).
