The present disclosure relates to a lock control apparatus for a vehicle and a method of controlling the same that receive a signal of a terminal using a plurality of anchors installed in the vehicle, and set a sleep mode for each of a plurality of anchors in response to whether signals of the plurality of anchors are received and waiting times and reset the plurality of anchors according to a signal reception state to receive the signals, and thus it is possible to prevent a battery from being discharged by reducing power consumed by the plurality of anchors, improve performance obtained by tracking a position of the terminal, and improve security performance of the vehicle by preventing hacking of a smart key.
