[0003] [Solution] [0004] When a reverse idler gear cannot mesh with an input gear and stops at a position between a neutral position and a first position (YES in step S6), a control unit moves the reverse idler gear toward the neutral position to be separated from the input gear once (step S7) and then moves the reverse idler gear toward the first position again (step S8). When the reverse idler gear cannot mesh with a counter gear and stops at a position between the first position and a second position (NO in step S6), the control unit drives an MGU so that the reverse idler gear is pressed against the counter gear (step S11) and the phase of the counter gear with respect to the reverse idler gear is changed (step S12).",
