The utility box comprises a housing having a front wall, a rear wall, and a pair of sidewalls forming an interior volume. An upper wall extends from the rear wall, wherein a lid is pivotally secured to the upper wall. A base forms the bottom section of the housing and is pivotally secured between the front wall and rear wall. The housing is movable between a collapsed configuration and an in-use configuration, wherein the in-use configuration the utility box can transport objects while secured within a bed of a truck and in the collapsed configuration the utility box is easily carried. A pair of cutouts are disposed on opposite sidewalls, wherein the cutouts receive the first or second sidewall in the collapsed configuration. A handle extends from the upper wall to allow for easy transport in the collapsed configuration.",
