The battery cell, the thermal strain elastic component, and the electric-conductor are disposed inside the housing. When a temperature of the battery cell is less than a threshold, the electric-conductor is electrically connected to the housing. When the temperature of the battery cell is greater than or equal to the threshold, the thermal strain elastic component is deformed, so that the electric-conductor is separated from the housing. An overheat structure formed by the housing, the battery cell, the thermal strain elastic component, and the electric-conductor is disposed at a tab inside the housing. A heat transfer path between the foregoing protection structure and a region with a highest temperature in the battery is short, and the foregoing protection structure is directly connected to a current collector in the battery cell, and heat conduction efficiency is high. When the overheat protection structure works, a current in the battery is completely cut off. Before the temperature of the battery cell decreases to a safe temperature, the battery stops working to prevent generation of more heat. This application further provides an electronic device including the battery.",
