The battery exchange system may discharge a battery pack in which charging has been stopped, calculate at least one state information of the discharged battery pack, resume charging of the battery pack, calculate the impedance information from the at least one state information of the discharged battery pack, and determine a state of health (SoH) of the battery pack and whether the battery pack is defective.
