An electrode (10) is provided that includes a base material (1) and an electrode mixture layer (2) on the base material (1). In a cross section of the electrode (10) in a thickness direction viewed from at least one direction perpendicular to the thickness direction, the electrode mixture layer (2) includes convex portions (2a) and non-convex portions (2b) each positioned between two convex portions (2a1, 2a2) adjacent to each other among the convex portions (2a), and a ratio (d1/d2) is 0.82 or more and 1.22 or less, where d1 represents a porosity of the non-convex portions (2b) and d2 represents a porosity of the convex portions (2a).
