The present invention provides a battery, including a housing enclosed to form a chamber and including a first side plate; a cell located in the chamber and provided with a first tab; a first adapter electrically connected with the first tab and disposed between the first side plate and the cell, and a projection of the first adapter on the first side plate does not overlap with a projection of the first tab on the first side plate. The present invention can improve the battery performance such as energy density.
