This application discloses a stylus, including a charging circuit, a battery, a power management integrated circuit, and a reset circuit, where both a charging port of the charging circuit and the battery are electrically connected to the power management integrated circuit through the reset circuit; and the reset circuit is configured to: disconnect a path between the charging port and the power management integrated circuit and disconnect a path between the battery and the power management integrated circuit when the charging port is powered on, and connect the path between the charging port and the power management integrated circuit and connect the path between the battery and the power management integrated circuit after a specific period of time.
