In the battery module in the present invention, the battery cells are stacked in the vertical direction, so that the number of battery cells can be determined according to the design height of the battery pack. Thus, the space utilization ratio in the height direction is high and flexible. It is only required to connect the carriers to the two sides of the battery cells during the installation, and it is unnecessary to pack the sides of the battery cells.
