A display device 10 includes: a display 14 that generates image display light; a concave mirror 16 that reflects the image display light such that the image display light is projected onto a transparent member 30; and a drive mechanism 18 that moves the display 14 in a range in which a distance from the concave mirror 16 to the display 14 is smaller than or equal to a reference distance at which the image display light traveling from the concave mirror 16 to the transparent member 30 becomes parallel light.
