A secondary battery includes: an electrode assembly including an electrode uncoated portion protruding toward at least one side; a current collector plate electrically connected to the electrode uncoated portion of the electrode assembly; a case to accommodate the electrode assembly and the current collector plate; and a cap assembly to seal the case, and the current collector plate includes an upper coupling portion and a lower coupling portion coupled to the electrode uncoated portion, and a protrusion protruding toward the case between the upper coupling portion and the lower coupling portion.
