A LID ARRANGEMENT FOR A CANISTER FOR A ROLLUP TRUCK BED COVER

A lid arrangement for a canister (44) for a retractable rollup truck bed cover of rigid slats comprises a lid (1;1') and a canister (44). The canister (44) has a main housing part (45) and opposite housing end parts (18,18a,18b). The lid (1;1') spans between said housing end parts (18,18a,18b) across the main housing part (45), and the lid (1;1') is pivotally connected to at least one of the housing end parts (18,18a,18b). The pivotal lid need not be taken fully off the canister when access is needed to the main housing part, e.g. to inspect the drain(s) or wipe up water inside the canister.
