A battery (100) disclosed herein includes: an electrode body (20a) including a positive electrode and a negative electrode; an electrolytic solution; a battery case (10) housing the electrode body (20a), storing the electrolytic solution, and including an electrolytic solution injection hole (15); and a sealing member (16) connected to a portion of the battery case (10) defining a peripheral edge of the electrolytic solution injection hole (15), such that the electrolytic solution injection hole (15) is sealed with the sealing member (16). A surface (14d) of the battery case (10) facing the electrode body (20a) includes a protrusion (14a) located around the electrolytic solution injection hole (15) and protruding toward the electrode body (20a).
