The charging control method is applied in a charging control system including a pile cloud platform, a charging pile system, and a vehicle cloud platform interacting with the pile cloud platform through a first communication connection. The method includes: when a communication fault occurs in the charging pile system, generating, based on charging control information to be transmitted, target route information by a first charging unit where the communication fault occurs; and transmitting the target route information to the target vehicle through the first communication connection and the second communication connection, and completing, by the target vehicle, a charging operation on the target vehicle based on the charging control information in the target route information received by the charging pile system. According to the present disclosure, the charging operation on the vehicle is realized when the fault occurs in the charging pile system, thereby enhancing robustness of the charging system.",
