The piston boot (50) comprises a first end (52), a second end (54), and a compressible middle section (56), wherein the piston boot (50) has a form of a hollow, substantially cylindrical body. The second end (54) comprises an opening (64) and a groove (60) at its outer circumference for mounting the second end (54) at a housing cover of a brake actuator, wherein the second end (54) further comprises a lip (62) extending into the opening (64) of the second end (54).
