PROCESS FOR PRODUCING NON-PNEUMATIC TIRES

A process for the production of at least a part of a non-pneumatic tire structure is disclosed, the non-pneumatic tire structure (1) comprising a radially inner band (7), a radially outer band (9) surrounding the inner band (7) and a spoke part (5) comprising a plurality of spokes (11) extending between the inner band (7) and the outer band (9). The process comprises providing a first plastic composition in the form of a filament (29) comprising a continuous fiber coated with a first thermoplastic resin; and forming one or more selected from at least one spoke (11) of the plurality of spokes, the inner band (7) and the outer band (9) of the non-pneumatic tire structure (1) by 3D printing, wherein forming includes depositing one or more layers of the first plastic composition.
