The invention relates to a car module () comprising a tamper detecting electronic control unit (), wherein the electronic control unit () is configured to control at least one electrically controllable function of a vehicle, for instance a light function such as low beam or high beam of a vehicle headlight, said electronic control unit () comprising—at least one carrier (), in particular a printed circuit board, comprising an electric circuit () for performing the controlling by the electronic control unit (),—a housing () enclosing the at least one carrier (), wherein the housing () comprises at least two parts (3), wherein a first part () of the housing () is holding the carrier (), and wherein a second part () of the housing () is attached to the first part () in order to close the housing () and as such enclose the carrier () within the housing (), and—a system () for detecting opening of the housing ().
