The door system includes a displacement mechanism that displaces the door structure in relation to the opening between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position the door structure covers at least a portion of the opening, and in the open position is at a distance from the closed position in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body structure. The door structure comprises a recess configured to receive at least a section of a wheel envelope of a wheel. The recess allows a door part of the door structure to cover the wheel in close vicinity to the vehicle body structure in a lateral direction of the vehicle body structure and prevents the wheel from contacting the door structure.",
