The regressing module predicts a continuous component setting value based on sensor signals received from a plurality of vehicle sensors, while the rounding operator rounds the continuous component setting value to a discrete component setting value. A controller trains the regressing module based on training data and a corresponding discrete component setting value output by the rounding operator. A component interface may further allow transmitting a setting signal corresponding to the discrete component setting value to at least one vehicle component.",
