Load carrier (1) of a motor vehicle comprising:- a longitudinal arm (5);- a locking system comprising:o a lever (8) one end of which is rotatably mounted with respect to the arm (5);o a spring (27) arranged between the lever (8) and the arm (5);- a blocking system (14) of the locking system, characterized in that the blocking system (14) comprises:o a fixed part (15) mounted and locked on the arm (8),o a mobile part (16) rotatably mounted on the fixed part (15), and provided with a blocking finger extending in the direction of the lever (8),the mobile part (16) being displaceable in rotation between:o an unlocking position;o a blocking position so as to block a movement of the lever (8).
