A car (1) having two front wheels (2); two rear drive wheels (4); a supercharged internal combustion engine (5) which is provided with a plurality of cylinders (18) with which respective pistons (19) slide and a drive shaft (20) connected to the pistons (19); a compressor (49) configured to compress air suited to be sucked by the supercharged internal combustion engine (5); a transmission (7) which is interposed between the internal combustion engine (5) and the rear drive wheels (4) and has: a drum (64) which is brought into rotation by the drive shaft (20), at least one clutch (65) contained in the drum (64) to receive the motion from the drum (64), and a primary shaft (66) connected to the clutch (65); and an actuating system (83) which connects the drum (64) of the transmission (7) to the first compressor (49) so as to receive the motion from the drum (64) of the transmission (7) to cause the rotation of the first compressor (49).
