  "textContent": "Disclosed herein is a safety system (6) for a machine comprising:- a pressurizing device (28);- at least one hydraulic cylinder (8) being coupled to a coupling mechanism (4) said at least one hydraulic cylinder (8) comprising a pressure chamber (46) and a piston (20) having a head (22) and a rod (24), the piston (20) being movable within the pressure chamber (46 along a longitudinal direction of the hydraulic cylinder (8);- a first pressure sensor (42) and a second pressure sensor (44), the first and second pressure sensors (42, 44) being designed to measure the pressure within the pressure chamber (46) via a first channel (48) having a first opening (54) and a second channel (50) having a second opening (56), which both extend into the pressure chamber (46), said first opening (54) and second opening (56) being spaced apart as seen in the longitudinal direction of the at least one hydraulic cylinder (8);- a seal device (52) arranged circumferentially around the head (22) of the piston (24), and- a hydraulic system (18) being fluidically connected to a head side (64) and a rod side (62) of the at least one hydraulic cylinder (8), the hydraulic system (18) being fluidically connected to a hydraulic fluid reservoir (26) and the pressurizing device (28).The seal device (52) is designed to move a plurality of times over the first and second openings (54, 56) and wherein at least one state of the safety system can be detected via the first and second pressure sensors (42, 44), namely a piston in locked position state.",
