IMAGE PROJECTION SYSTEM

The present invention provides an image projection system in which a projection image is easier to see. An image projection system according to an embodiment of the present invention has: an image projection device which emits projection light that is linearly polarized light; a screen which is irradiated with the projection light emitted from the image projection device; and a light absorption anisotropic layer which is disposed between the image projection device and the screen and through which the projection light passes, the light absorption anisotropic layer contains a dichroic substance, and a transmittance central axis of the light absorption anisotropic layer is in a direction toward the screen.
