ELECTRODE FOR SECONDARY BATTERIES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

This electrode for secondary batteries is provided with a core material and an electrode mixture sheet that is bonded to the surface of the core material. The electrode mixture sheet contains an active material, a fibrous first binder and a particulate second binder; and the second binder is mainly composed of a polyvinylidene fluoride, while having a volume-based median diameter of 50 µm or less. The first binder is mainly composed, for example, of a polytetrafluoroethylene.
