METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING VITAL DATA OF AN OCCUPANT OF A VEHCILE

The disclosure relates to a method (100) for monitoring vital data of an occupant of a vehicle (102), comprising: establishing a direct or indirect connection (104, 106) between a personal device (108) of the occupant and an on-board-device (110) of the vehicle (102), the personal device being configured to collect and/or record personal data comprising at least one vital sign; receiving, by the on-board-device (110) of the vehicle (102), the personal data comprising the at least one vital sign from the personal device (108), storing the personal data locally in a storing unit (118) (102),setting at least one of a predetermined upper threshold and a predetermined lower threshold for the at least one vital sign; displaying at least a part of the stored personal data on a display device (120) of the vehicle (102), the predetermined upper threshold and/or the predetermined lower threshold for the at least one vital sign, wherein the part of the stored personal data comprises at least a current value of the at least one vital sign; comparing the current value of the at least one vital sign with the predetermined upper threshold and/or the predetermined lower threshold; notifying the occupant, in case, the current value of the at least one vital sign exceeds the predetermined upper threshold and/or undercuts the lower threshold. Further, the disclosure relates to a system for monitoring vital data of an occupant of a vehicle (102).
