CHARGING METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM

A charging method includes recognizing a type of a charging device in response to being connected to the charging device. The type of the charging device is either an adapter type or a non-adapter type. A charging mode corresponding to the type of the charging device is determined. Charging modes include at least a first mode and a second mode. A charging voltage of the first mode can reach a first threshold voltage. A charging voltage of the second mode can reach a second threshold voltage. The first threshold voltage is greater than a rated voltage of a battery. The rated voltage is greater than the second threshold voltage. The method includes charging an electronic device according to the determined charging mode.
