The invention relates to a method of cooling an electrical equipment system by using a dielectric fluid composition comprising a base fluid comprising hydrogenated oligomers obtained from the oligomerization of butene. The method according to the invention provides good and consistent heat dissipation of the electrical equipment system over a wide temperature range.
