The present invention aims to provide a tire with excellent durability. A tire includes a belt layer, the belt layer including at least one belt ply, the belt ply including, as a reinforcing material, a belt cord having a 1 × 4 structure consisting of four filaments twisted together, the belt cord having an outer diameter D (mm) of 0.50 mm or less, the belt ply having a product of D × E of at least 20.0 but not more than 28.0, wherein D denotes the outer diameter (mm) of the belt cord, and E denotes the number (ends/50 mm) of belt cords aligned as measured in the tire width direction in a widthwise cross-section of the tire.
