A battery module according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include at least one battery cell and a module housing. The module housing includes: a first frame provided with a body and first extension parts extending from two ends of the body, respectively, in at least one direction so as to define an accommodation space in which the at least one battery cell is accommodated; a second frame provided with a cover, which faces the body and covers the accommodation space, and second extension parts extending from two ends of the cover, respectively, in at least one direction and disposed to face the first extension parts, respectively; and a coupling plate including a first portion spaced apart from an end of the first extension part of the first frame in an extension direction of the first extension part, and coupled to the first extension part, and a second portion coupled to the second extension part.
