POWER CONNECTOR FOR CONNECTING A BUSBAR TO AN ELECTRICAL BATTERY MODULE AND BATTERY CONNECTION ASSEMBLY

A power connector for connecting a busbar (4) to an electrical battery module comprising an electrically insulating connector housing (6) accommodating a connector terminal (7) electrically connected to the busbar (4). the connector terminal (7) and busbar (4) are mechanically fastened into a cap (10). The cap (10), the connector terminal (7) and the busbar (4) are movable together relative to the connector housing (6) between at least a delivery position and a connection position. The cap (10) comprises cap locking means (11). The cap locking means (11) are actuatable between a locked position in which it holds the cap (10) and the connector housing (6) in the delivery position and an unlocked position wherein the cap (10) and the connector housing (6) are released so as to allow the cap (10) to be pushed into the connection position.
