A soil compaction roller for a soil compaction machine, in particular a soil compactor, comprises a roller jacket (24) extending in the direction of a roller rotation axis (W) and surrounding the roller rotation axis (W), two disc-like support elements (28, 30) arranged at a distance from one another in the direction of the roller rotation axis (W), attached to an inner side (26) of the roller jacket (24), and a peripheral wall (32) extending in the direction of the roller rotation axis (W) between the support elements (28, 30) and adjoining these, wherein an inner surface (34) of the peripheral wall (32) together with the support elements (28, 30) delimits a lubricant receiving volume (36), wherein in at least one of the support elements (28, 30) at least one lubricant drain opening (56) open to the lubricant receiving volume (36) is provided, wherein at least one lubricant collection volume (58) is formed in the lubricant receiving volume (36), wherein the at least one lubricant collection volume (58) can be emptied via a lubricant drain opening (56) open to it. To provide the lubricant collection volume (58), the inner surface (34) of the peripheral wall (32) has an increasing radial distance (R) to the roller rotation axis (W) in the direction of the roller rotation axis (W) toward the lubricant drain opening (56) open to the at least one lubricant collection volume (58).
