Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a pressure relief apparatus, a cell, a battery and an electrical device, belonging to the technical field of batteries. Provided in the embodiments of the present application is a pressure relief apparatus used for a cell. The pressure relief apparatus comprises a pressure relief body and two pressure relief recesses. The pressure relief body is provided with a first surface and a second surface which are oppositely arranged in the thickness direction of the pressure relief body. The two pressure relief recesses are oppositely arranged in the thickness direction and are arranged on the first surface and the second surface respectively, a weak part being formed between the two pressure relief recesses, and the weak part being configured to crack when the pressure or temperature in the cell reaches a threshold value so as to relieve the pressure in the cell. The first surface and the second surface of the pressure relief body are provided with the pressure relief recesses respectively so that a relatively low residual thickness is realized, the thickness of the weak part is reduced and the weak part is easier to crack, thus reducing the explosion initiation pressure of the pressure relief device so as to enable the pressure relief body to relieve pressure in time, reducing the risks of fire, explosion and the like of a cell, and effectively improving the safety of the cell.
