"textContent": "The present invention relates to a method for characterising batteries, comprising: obtaining simplified characterisation parameters (R,R) of a battery pack to be characterised to estimate the capacity of the battery and its internal resistance; and applying said simplified characterisation parameters (R,R) to predetermined models that calculate the capacity and internal resistance based on approximations and predetermined model parameters. To determine the model parameters, detailed characterisation parameters (C, R,R) are obtained from a previous battery pack, to adjust model parameters. A statistical analysis comparing simplified characterisation parameters (R,R) with the detailed characterisation parameters (C, R,R) allows determining if the batteries to be characterised can be characterised through previous battery models or if they should be subjected to a detailed characterisation.",
